Fed Express Rolls On to … Djokovic

We have the 2 versus 3 semifinal that seeding is supposed to ensure on the bottom half of the men’s draw at the Australian Open.
The other semifinal awaits the winner of Nadal vs. Ferrer and Murray vs. the Ukranian Train, “The Dog” Alexandr Dolgopolov, who looks like the breakout tennis player of early 2011 after beating Tsonga and Soderling in the previous two rounds.

On the women’s side, Wozniacki, the number one player in the world, continues to scratch out wins after beating a game Francesca Schiavone, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. The semis on the top half will feature the Chinese number one, Li Na vs. the world number one, Caroline Wozniacki.
In the bottom half, the two seed, and a finalist in the last two slams, Vera Zvonareva plays Petra Kvitova, of the Czech Republic and the U.S. Open champ, Kim Clijsters plays Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland.
The draw has opened nicely for Clijsters, who is the only remaining player with grand slam victory experience. I pick her to win the 2011 Aussie Open.

Re: Nadal’s ouster… You know what makes you sweat profusely? Certain steroids. I went to a steroid associated chat board to see people complaining about excessive sweating. Nadal felt perfect against Cilic and suddenly breaks down. I dunno here…

Interesting that all this stuff comes at once and right after he’s busy pounding the rest of his matches like there’s no problem. Huh?
