American hopeful, Ryan Harrison gets a shot at the golden ring with his next match against the great Roger Federer. Although Federer is not the dominant player he once was, it was in a match against Pete Sampras when the then all-time grand slam record holder that Roger really announced his talent to the world in a five setter at Wimbledon. Could Ryan Harrison do the same at the 2011 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California? We’ll know soon enough as Harrison took out another young gun, Milos Ranoic of Canada. If these two can impose themselves on the big guns of tennis, we could hopefully see some variety in the play on the men’s tour–we might even see 10 volleys in a single match again.
